Turn a roll into a working fisherman

Roll a fisherman, then place it on the dock: these are separate steps in the developer’s own instructions. Check that the unit occupies a working position before spending more Cash on recruitment.

When the dock is full, inspect the fisherman you intend to replace first. Compare attributes and any active perk, then make the swap. Leave a useful specialist in place if replacing it would remove a benefit your current plan relies on.

Compare perks against your next goal

A luck perk is useful only in relation to the roll or catch you are pursuing. A mutation discount deserves a separate comparison with your planned Gold expense. High Cash cost alone cannot establish a unit’s speed or the income of its future catches.

Use the role tier list for buying priorities and the Gold guide for upgrade decisions. Keep fisherman perks separate from fish mutation multipliers when comparing two setups.

Duplicates, names and missing values

Compare exact in-game names when matching a roll to this list. A nickname is not necessarily a separate unit, and Lobster can refer to a fisherman/trap context or a fish. Read the item panel before buying or selling.

A spare fisherman can be useful when you have another available position. When space is limited, compare the duplicate with your weakest current unit instead of discarding it solely because you already own the name.

Fishermen FAQ

Is this the complete fisherman roster?

It contains the 14 names in the September recap. It is not an official exhaustive index; new or undocumented units may be missing.

Can I use a cheap fisherman?

Yes: the official loop begins with rolling and placing a fisherman. Use what you can place while building toward a purchase that improves your setup.

How do I compare two units?

Use the same position, upgrades and collection schedule. Record the displayed attributes and repeat observations so one unusual catch does not decide the comparison.

A public gameplay reference

The linked narration names Koi Fisher and Uncle Bob at 4:27, then Clown Timmy at 7:11. These spoken names corroborate part of the roster; prices and other entries still rely on the dated recap.

This reference was checked through automatic captions. It is narration evidence, not an independent inspection of every on-screen label.
